Exploring the States

If you're looking for a holiday with a little excitement, new experiences and lashings of fantastic things to see and do, you can't go wrong with US holidays.

Let's start with the city. There are so many iconic cities you'll never know where to begin - vibrant Chicago, buzzing Los Angeles or stately Washington? Anyone with a penchant for shopping and city views will love the buzz and bustle of New York. Famous for so many things, including the soaring Empire State Building, Central Park and Macy's. This vibrant city is a must-go at least once in your lifetime (although usually, one visit is never enough!) And of course, the glittering sights and sounds of Las Vegas is another trip that's worth every penny. Whether you're here for the casinos, the nightlife or the Grand Canyon, your days will flash by in a whirl of famous sights and experiences that will live with you long after you return home.

If you've got the kids in tow, Florida is the obvious place to visit. With so many theme parks, water parks, rides and rollercoasters, not to mention all those famous cartoon characters and fairy princesses to snap a photo with, you'll certainly never hear the dreaded "I'm bored". And that's even before you've spent a day of discovery at the Kennedy Space Station, gazed open-mouthed at a killer whale display or got up close and personal with fearsome crocs in the Everglades.

Of course, any trip to the States does come at a price. But with so many great deals on next year's holidays and last minute holidays 2013 on offer, it doesn't have to cost the earth. And besides, the experience and the memories will be worth their weight in gold. So where will your US voyage of discovery take you?

  1. NYC is worth visiting time and time again. :) But my fave US city is still San Francisco. I like the undulating terrain, the cool climes, and the gentility of the city.
