The Lowdown on Costa Adeje

If there's one holiday resort that's bound to tick all the right boxes, Costa Adeje is it. Based on the southern shores of Tenerife, a stone's throw from the ever-popular Playa de las Americas and within easy reach of some of the island's best attractions. Costa Adeje is a force to be reckoned with.

It's a relative newbie to the Tenerife holiday scene but it hasn't wasted any time in making its presence known. It's a fairly upmarket resort that's peppered with five-star hotels and top-notch restaurants. You'd be forgiven for thinking that, due to its proximity to the hip hop and happening town of Playa de las Americas, Costa Adeje is a buzzing resort that never sleeps. But read any tips on Costa Adeje and you'll find that it's really not that lively. It's got its fair share of waterfront bars, live music venues and cheerful restaurants, but if you really want a big night out, it's usually worth grabbing a taxi to neighboring Playa for some serious nightlife.

As for daytime entertainment, Costa Adeje really knows how to put on a great holiday. The resort has its own Blue Flag beach - two of them in fact - one of which boasts a fine strip of golden sand that has been shipped in from the Sahara. There's plenty to do by day, be it a trip to the splash-tastic Siam Park or a boat trip out to spot dolphins and sea life.

And of course, thanks to its location on the south coast and proximity to Tenerife's major road networks, Costa Adeje is a great spot from which to hire a car and head out to explore the island.

Check out TenerifeCarHire.com to search for car hire deals and to book online as this is a great way to secure a hire car without breaking the bank, and to ensure that there's a car waiting for you on arrival.

So whether you're after a voyage of discovery or a sun-drenched stay by the beach, Costa Adeje is a first-rate choice.
