2011 Clark Hot Air Balloon Festival
I actually thought twice if I'd blog about this since we really didn't see much when we went there. But what the heck! For posterity's sake here it is.
The 16th Philippine International Hot Air Balloon Fiesta was held last February 10-13, 2011 at Clark Special Economic Zone, Angeles City, Pampanga.
We bought our tickets a week before the event from Ticketnet at Php150.00. The ticket can be used for any of the dates mentioned above, and we chose to go on the last day (Sunday) since some of our friends were not available on Saturday.
We originally planned being on the road around 3:30 am to make it for the 5:30 am flight of the balloons, but got there at around 7:00 am. Needless to say, we already missed the highlight of the event so I will just let the pictures do the talking.
When there was nothing left to do, we decided to head to Marquee Mall to escape the heat. We planned to stay there for 2-3 hours and come back for the night glow at 5:30PM. But since all of us were already tired and had to go to work the following day, we just decided to go home haha
Too bad we missed Darth Vader *bawls*

ReplyDeleteHi Joana, yes you have to go there really early otherwise baka wala kayong mapala tulad namin haha around 5:00-5:30 am kasi ata ang launch ng balloons. As far as I can remember, meron ding night glow. Around 5:30-6:00 pm naman ata ang start nun
