Eat, Pray, Shop: Malaysia - Classic Inn KL

Whenever I look for accommodations, I tend to gravitate towards guesthouses or bed & breakfasts simply because of the homey ambiance. So when I checked TripAdvisor for recommended B&Bs, Classic Inn came at the top of the list (available during our travel date). I checked their website and all it took was a picture of the breakfast area and I was sold.

Wooden tables and chairs, laidback vibe, and foliage right in KL's Golden Triangle area
We especially love their day bed -- which we prefer calling opium bed -- because it reminds us of the one in Cliffhouse, Tagaytay.

We arrived in the wee hours of the morning, and a lad greeted us...with a not so good news. He said the air conditioning unit in our room was not working and that the tap was leaking. That said, he took us to a nearby guesthouse to stay for the night.

We came back the following day to have breakfast and leave our things since our room was still not ready.

Yummy breakfast of kaya toast, noodles, fresh fruits, and juice (second day).
First day's breakfast was almost the same except for the noodles and fruit juice.
This is what they served instead:
We failed to ask the name but it's a fritter with some herbs

After breakfast, we went about our day, went back and settled payment before we were ushered to our room. They gave us a corner room at the third floor which was okay if not for the poor WiFi so we requested to be transferred. Good thing a twin room at the ground floor was still available. We actually preferred this because it's close to the reception area and WiFi is good (although the bathroom is smaller).

Rooms are very clean and the bathroom is spotless. It's also equipped with King Koil beds and comfy pillows, phone, desk, flat screen TV (but has limited cable channels), and shower and water heater.
