Island Cove

Just this weekend I was invited to my BF's uncle's birthday in Island Cove

We left Marikina a little past 6:00 am and reached Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite in about an hour or so. Since we were just there for a day trip - actually mainly to fish - I was not able to check out the accommodations.

His uncle rented one of the bigger, if not the biggest, hut on stilts in Fishing Village. I think the rate is Php5,000 (consumable) for 3 hours. That does not even include access to their pool in Oceania. You still have to pay Php275 (adults)/Php225 (kids) but that's already inclusive of entrance to Animal Island.
Since it was still early and Animal Island was still closed,we walked around first.

Finally lunch was served!

After lunch, the kids went swimming while we explored Animal Island.
the three little (black) pigs :p
At Butterfly Farm sans the butterflies LOL

On to the aviary

Ready for his close up :p

Finally, we checked the Crocodile Farm and Monkey Island

For their rates, I wish they could improve or at least maintain the facilities particularly Animal Island. The place seems so barren. No wonder the animals look lethargic. Wish they could add greenery.
